Psychological consultations

Psychological consultations provides a structured space for understanding difficulties that may arise in daily functioning. It represents the initial meeting with a psychologist, during which the reasons for seeking support and the individual’s needs are explored.During the consultation, the psychologist carefully examines the client’s situation, the accompanying emotions, and factors that may influence their current well-being.

Based on this preliminary assessment, potential directions for further intervention and appropriate forms of psychological support are proposed. The consultation offers a safe environment to express feelings and concerns without judgment, in a climate of acceptance and understanding. Simply sharing experiences with a professional can bring noticeable relief and represents a first step toward positive change. Consultations may also serve as a form of support during challenging periods and as a crisis intervention in situations of acute emotional burden.

Typically, one to three consultations are conducted before commencing psychotherapy to identify needs and develop an appropriate plan of care. Consultations are available for adults, children, and adolescents. Family consultations are also offered, aimed at helping parents better understand their child and providing guidance for further steps.
